The need is great.
The time is now.

Give today to help us protect our nation’s growing number of homeschooled children.

Homeschooled children need your help.

Over 2.1 million children are being homeschooled in the U.S. But no state has laws strong enough to ensure these children receive a quality education in a safe home. This policy failure has left generations of homeschooled children at risk for educational neglect, isolation, and abuse.

As our nation’s political headwinds change, more children than ever are expected to be homeschooled. That means the need to make homeschool safe has never been more urgent.

Our goal: $12,500 in one-time gifts, $250 in monthly gifts

Three of our longtime supporters — Carmen Longoria Green, Caleb Lowery, and Hannah Lowery — have generously provided matching gifts for our end-of-year campaign. Thanks to their support, every dollar you give through December 31 doubles up to $12,500.

What your gift does

Every dollar you give powers our one-of-a-kind work to:

Train child welfare professionals

Our new training program is teaching social workers, investigators, and other professionals to recognize and address child abuse in homeschool settings. Your gift allows us to offer free training sessions to hundreds of child welfare professionals nationwide each year.

Advocate for better homeschool laws

In 2024, we launched the Make Homeschool Safe Act, first-of-its-kind model legislation that creates protections for homeschooled children. Your gift empowers us to keep working with legislators in Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota to introduce game-changing bills in the next legislative session.

Create resources for homeschooled adults

We’re developing new resources, community spaces, and content to help homeschooled people succeed. Your gift helps us develop a self-service guide for homeschooled people to address identification abuse and live independently.
